Dr Amy Fung

Amy is a specialist paediatric dentist who has over 10 years in specialist private practice.

Amy completed her Bachelor of Dental Science in 2002 at the University of Melbourne and spent the first few years working in rural Victoria before completing the Primary Examination of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons with 5 commendations. She was accepted into the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry program for Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Melbourne, which she completed in 2009.

Amy is a leader in the paediatric dental community.  She has served as President, Treasurer and Secretary of Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry  (ANZSPD) Victorian Branch and was the Chair of Australian Dental Association Melbourne North West Regional Group between 2012 and 2018.  Her volunteer work has taken her to remote communities in India, Vietnam and in the Amazon jungle.

Amy is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry, Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry, International Association of Paeditaric Dentistry, Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.

Amy enjoys good food and wine and international travel. Her travelling highlight was completing the Inca Trail. She is a passionate and long suffering supporter of the Essendon Football Club. More recently, she has been busy raising two young boys.

She finds great fulfillment in the ability to provide high quality and comprehensive care in a safe and caring environment and looks forward to caring for your family.
